Can you ever truly capture a feeling?

For Alina Abegg, jewelry becomes a vessel for transforming personal memories and daydreams into sculptural fine jewelry.

Alina's story

Each piece distills a fragment of her own life; childhood recollections, cultural touchstones, and moments of transition, while extending an invitation for collectors to connect with their own emotional landscapes.

From an early age, Alina Abegg was captivated by gemstones; nature’s own works of art. This fascination led her to study at Istituto Marangoni in London, before earning degrees in Gemology and Jewelry Design from GIA in New York. In 2016, she returned to Berlin to launch her namesake brand. Touching on universal themes of wonder, indulgence, impermanence, and cosmic mystery, her collections are conceived as more than adornment, they are collectible objects that can become personal portals into feeling, with the power to evoke the ephemeral.

The creative process

For Alina Abegg, the creative process is an enchanting journey fuelled by nostalgia and whimsy. Drawing inspiration from cherished childhood memories and teenage obsessions, the designer embarks on a quest to capture the magical essence of bygone times. Childhood delights unfold in the form of stickers, each telling a story of innocence and playfulness. Extraterrestrial fascination finds its way into designs, as aliens and planets become celestial motifs on exquisite pieces. The creative process takes a sweet turn with nods to German traditional candy, infusing the designs with a delectable blend of sophistication and playfulness. In this fusion of memories and obsessions, Alina transforms the ordinary into the extraordinary, crafting pieces that are not just accessories but tangible memories of a time when imagination knew no bounds.
